Manager, Product Management – Walmart Team

This integral member of the product team will report to the Director, Product Management – Wal-Mart Team. They will work directly with Wal-Mart associates and be the primary liason to the NPD internal team insuring product quality and timeliness. Position Overview:
The Wal-Mart Product Manager will own the integrity, accuracy and quality of existing products and new products that evolve which meet the on-going and dynamic business needs of Wal-Mart..
This position is located in our Bentonville, Arkansas Customer Teams Office.
Overall Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
5-10 years’ experience developing new products, including business plans and product requirements Proven track record in developing and launching products or services Experience with point-of-sale (POS) data as well as other data sources Strong analytical and data management skills Consumer research knowledge Manages projects to completion with an eye towards problem solving and anticipating challenges Process improvement mindset Client-oriented with excellent relationship-building and listening skills; ability to effectively discern and deliver on client needs Ability to diffuse challenges with client when quality or timing issues are not achieved Effective team leadership capabilities and collaboration skills; ability to work synergistically with a diverse group of stakeholders, ensuring cross-fertilization of ideas that deliver results Ability to work beyond NPD – has experience working with outside partners to achieve common results. Solid organization and project management skills; ability to manage and deliver on multiple project deliverables simultaneously Strong in all MS Office products. (Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Word) BA/BS or equivalent.
