**Summary**
The Program Eligibility Supervisor is responsible for supervising the activities of an eligibility program staff. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy.
**Typical Functions**
Provides supervision of subordinate staff by establishing work schedules, assigning specific duties, monitoring and reviewing work, evaluating performance, and ensuring adherence to instructions, deadlines, and delivery of services to clients. Monitors and prepares weekly performance reports on staff's workload, including the number of hours worked and quantity of determinations adjudicated. Prepares training materials and presents necessary training to update staff on development plans, as needed, ensuring staff enrollment in appropriate training. Resolves procedural problems encountered by subordinates to maintain standard of quality and provides direction in difficult cases. Attends and conducts staff meetings to review policy, discuss policy clarifications, and resolve problems. Investigates issues and makes determinations. Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of federal and state laws, policies, procedures, and guidelines governing clienteligibility for assigned programs. Knowledge of community-based programs and services. Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and guidelines in determining eligibility forassistance programs. Ability to prepare oral and written information and reports. Ability to analyze case records and reports for compliance with program specifications anddetermine appropriate remedial action.
**Minimum Education and/or Experience**
The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology or a related field; plus three years of experience in determining eligibility for social service programs, including one year in a supervisory or leadership capacity within the program. Additional requirements determined by the agency for recruiting purposes require review and approval by the Office of Personnel Management. **Preferred Qualifications**
Knowledge of organizational mission and functions for training purposes. Ability to apply and interpret agency policies, procedures, and regulations. Ability to develop and evaluate employee work performance. Ability to prepare reports and maintain records related to employee performance. Ability to organize and present information both orally and in writing. Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel and Word.

The starting salary for this position is $40,340 annually. This position is located in Batesville, AR.
