Position Overview:

This position requires an ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, strong written and interpersonal communication skills and significant experience with Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of Hendrix administrative procedures and systems, including Jenzabar and Innovative Interfaces, is preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities
Process invoice payments and create purchase orders through Jenzabar
Process reimbursement requests and library credit card payments
Coordinate the financial process in ordering books with the Acquisitions Assistant through the Library’s integrated system (Innovative Interfaces Inc.)
Facilitate payroll process
Provide administrative support for Librarians and Library Director
Provide office operation support, including receiving and screening telephone calls and visitors
Open and review incoming mail and respond to inquiries
Operate office equipment (i.e., copiers, calculators, computers, mail meter) found in department
Maintain and resolve facilities issues
Coordinate the scheduling of rooms
Assist with special events
