Role Description

Primetals Technologies is a joint venture of Mitsubishi-Hitachi Metals Machinery and partners. Operating globally, Primetals Technologies offers a world-class technology product portfolio to guarantee excellence in metals production.
The Blytheville Facility handles maintenance and reconditioning of beam, bloom and billet and thin slab casters. The facility also offers engineering services, in plant laser measurement services, plant millwright services, mechanical machining of both large and small components, fabrication and welding services, along with in-house nickel-plating facilities. Our expertise and technological advancements for the maintenance, repair and manufacture of continuous casting mold, segment, roll and related components allow us to provide our customers an exceptional value in workmanship and quality assurance with each job.
Our Blytheville, AR facility is currently hiring for the following position:
Mechanical Assembler I 1st shift
Requirements -

• Current, valid driver license
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow written directions
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
• Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea
• High attention to detail and self-motivation skills

Responsibilities -

• Assembles, repairs and installs mechanical component parts, sub-assemblies or completed units according to engineering specifications.
• Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
• Work is performed in-house and on customer site.
• Uses hand tools, small power tools and other special equipment.
• Operates a truck, crane and forklift.
