MARSHALLTOWN is seeking MULTIPLE experienced Shipping/Receiving workers to support our 2nd and 3rd shift Distribution Center operation in our South Fayetteville facility.

Shipping Utility's at MARSHALLTOWN order pick, process, and ship custom orders accurately within 24 hours of an order being placed. Successful employees are cross-functional throughout the facility with proficiency in the carousel as well as other areas.

2nd shift: Standard work week is Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm; Overtime work may require the shift to start or end early or occasional weekend work.

3rd shift: Standard work week is Sunday night - Thursday night 11:00pm - 7:00am; Overtime work may require the shift to start or end early or occasional weekend work.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Pick and restock parts in the carousel
• Perform pick quality checks for accuracy and pack products correctly to ensure safe package delivery to customer
• Keep product restocked correctly in the carousel in both single slots as well as boxes
• Keeps inventory accurate throughout the facility ensuring it matches our in-house system
• Prints labels and assigns to appropriate product
• Scans and palletizes product
• Process completed order to include weighing, stretch wrapping, generating a BOL (bill of lading), and loading trucks for shipment
• Assists in the EOL (end of line area), small package area, and processing areas as assigned
• Operates the order-picker, or other powered industrial trucks, to retrieve product, stock product, and/or unload/load trucks
• Other duties and project work as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• A high school diploma or GED, required; 1-5 years of manufacturing experience, strongly preferred
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center required, 2+ years preferred.
• Experience driving PIT's (powered industrial trucks such as Forklifts, order pickers, and/or turret trucks) strongly preferred
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills; proficient computer skills
• Must be able to effectively read, write, understand, and communicate in English due to the safety aspects of the position, work instructions, policies and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities with frequent interruptions
• Must be reliable and have proven record of good attendance.
