THV11 , TEGNA's CBS affiliate in Little Rock, Arkansas is looking for a skilled journalist who can both Produce and Report. We need someone who who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for what local news should be on air, on digital, social media and streaming platforms. At THV11 we sincerely believe we are Better Together and are looking for a team member with a passion for telling stories who can help inspire change in our community.

We want a creative, engaging, and enterprising team member. The successful candidate will be an excellent story-teller with not only a passion for producing innovative newscasts but also a top-notch reporting with strong interviewing, live, and taped reporting skills.

• As an MSJ, we expect you to develop compelling story ideas, write, shoot and edit news stories for on-air broadcasting.
• Use social media to determine content of newscasts and highlight big social stories.
• Write and post daily on all digital platforms including social media.
• Develop original content through social listening and independent sources.

• As a producer you are responsible for strong news judgement, creative writing and problem solving to create innovative newscasts.
• Perform other tasks as required by supervisor or executive producer.

• Minimum 1-3 years news reporting/producing experience
• Journalism and/or Communication degree preferred
• Understand the tenets of professional journalism
• Excellent, creative presentation and writing skills a must
