The Opportunity

The Class B Hazmat Route Driver will be responsible for sorting and packaging hazardous and non-hazardous materials at retail-client locations, and then transporting the materials to a Clean Harbors facility for storage and disposal.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times

+ Ensure proper segregation, packaging, loading and unloading of hazardous, non-hazardous and pharmaceutical waste

+ Guarantees placarding of vehicle to meet Company and DOT requirements/regulations

+ Maintain daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

+ Provides exceptional customer service

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

+ HS Diploma or equivalent

+ Willingness to travel away from home up to 80% of the time Monday to Friday

+ Class B CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsement

+ 1+ years’ experience operating a box truck

+ General Chemistry knowledge preferred

+ Previous experience with handling of hazardous materials is a plus
