Description

Conway Behavioral Health is seeking a bachelor’s prepared professional with knowledge and experience in certification requirements of health insurance companies and third party payers for coverage of their hospital stay. The right applicant will be capable of acting as a liaison between managed care organizations and the facility professional clinical staff, facilitate peer review calls between facility and external organizations, apply the appeal process for denied admission or continued stays, and provide support for staff in staying current on documentation requirements and medical necessity updates.

Education/Experience/Skills Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree from an university or college in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing or other healthcare field required.

+ Previous experience in utilization management preferred.

+ Previous experience working with insurance companies preferred.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

+ LPN or RN license preferred.

+ CPR and CPI required (training offered by facility upon hire)
