MARSHALLTOWN is seeking MULTIPLE technically sound and experienced Production Utility workers to support our production operation in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility in south Fayetteville.

Technical Production Utility's (internally referred to as a Group 4 Production Utility) are responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting equipment ensuring predetermined production rates and quality standards are met in safe and clean work environment. The Group 4 Production Utility reports directly to the Shift Supervisor and indirectly to the Shift Group Leader. The Group 4 Production Utility works directly with less skilled Production Utilities (Group 3) supporting them with troubleshooting, setups, and general operation.

1st shift: Standard work week is Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm; Overtime work may require the shift to start or end early or occasional weekend work.

2nd shift: Standard work week is Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm; Overtime work may require the shift to start or end early or occasional weekend work.

3rd shift: Standard work week is Sunday night - Thursday night 11:00pm - 7:00am; Overtime work may require the shift to start or end early or occasional weekend work.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Machines, assembles, cleans and packages various types of product for shipment
• Verifies part quality using various measurement tools
• Performs quality assurance checks throughout the department
• Other duties and project work as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• A high school diploma or GED, required; 1-5 years of manufacturing experience, strongly preferred
• Previous experience setting up, operating, and trouble shooting equipment to include grinders, robots, CNC’s, etc. strongly preferred
• Must have experience using various measurement tools such as tape-measure, calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Must have experience using handheld tools, such as a screwdriver
• Experience with Multi-Cam software, a plus
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills; proficient computer skills
• Must be able to effectively read, write, understand, and communicate in English due to the safety aspects of the position, work instructions, policies and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities with frequent interruptions
• Must be reliable and have proven record of good attendance.
• Certification or Training from an accredited technical school, preferred
