The Manager Customer Communication is responsible for the creation and distribution of critical Walmart Business messaging / narrative across the BBU organization. This position is also responsible for working closely with BBU Sales Ops to execute programming and service standards commensurate to gaining share of category.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
+ Lead cross functional collaborative sessions to identify clear and concise communication direction to key stakeholders, relative to various task and projects.
+ Establishes and maintains trusted counsel partnership with BBU Sales Op Directors to deliver this customer's sales execution/service goals.
• Partners with across BBU Walmart Team to best determine most effective communication design.
+ Coordinates project list across all Customer Manager program execution (Scorecards)
+ Seeks out and initiates business-building opportunities utilizing all available resources.
+ Supports the Customer Executives in disseminating communication throught each BU.
+ Maintains and regularly updates analyses of critical competitors' activities within customers' key markets and their impact. (Provides market-level intelligence on regular frequency), as communicated in by Customer Managers.
+ Works directly with Walmart/Sam's Selling Team (Sales/Category/Planner/Shopper) to ensure alignment of programming and focus that builds BBU Brand's chare of category.
+ Enlist and Participate with Bimbo Bakeries and Corporate Social Responsibility functions.
+ Learn and educate BBU DSD teams specific to the continuing advancement of various e-commerce programs.
+ Help VP craft and develop corporate messaging in succinct fashion.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Sales, Marketing or Business-related field preferred. A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.
The ideal candidate will possess:
+ Minimum of 5 years in Sales Management, communication, marketing or selling experience.
+ Knowledge of IRI data and the ability to analyze data.
+ Strong interactive and communication skills.
+ Computer skills and proficiency, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, are required and proficiency with Margin Minder.
+ Travel is required – >50%.
