Mgr Team Performance - WMT - Tyson Foods (Arkansas)
The Walmart Team Performance Manager will assist the Directors of Customer Development and Vice President of Customer Development Walmart Packaged in long term strategy development through financial, analytical and planning discussions. They will ensure team performance goals are met within established budgetary guidelines. This position will drive trade efficiencies with assigned customers/portfolios to advise the Walmart Customer Team of risks and opportunities within the business to maximize Customer, Category, and Brand results. In addition, they will manage audit control to ensure SOX compliance. This role acts as the expert in all trade tools and internal systems and leverages customer dynamics to optimize internal processes. Key internal interfaces inclusive of the Vice President of Customer Development and Directors of Customer Development and Customer Development Managers (CDM), Customer Insight Managers (CIM), Senior Manager Advanced Analytics, Customer Service Associates (CSA), Sales Strategy & Planning (SS&P), product managers and Customer Finance.
+ Analyze key drivers of Customer Team financial performance (volume, net sales, gross margin, trade spending, forecast accuracy, deductions)
+ Own Customer Team scorecard responsibilities including period updates and maintenance
+ Provide leadership and support to sales leader in building Annual Operating Plans & quarterly business results
+ Partner with sales leaders and SS&P on development and refinement of Team goals
+ Understand and leverage customer financial dynamics, interfacing with strategic customer, as appropriate
+ Act as Team expert and training on trade system tools
+ Conduct analysis on trade spend, review results and develop recommendations with the team to maximize return on investment
+ Develop collaborative relationships with key cross-functional partners
REQUIREMENTS:
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree required
+ Experience: 5-7 years of relevant CPG experience to include some combination of: Customer Management, Customer Marketing, Category Management and/or Trade Marketing. Customer Finance and Analytics, preferred
+ Computer Skills: Microsoft Office applications with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
+ Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills required
+ Travel: 6 or more domestic trips per year
