The Position Base to $80k (++ for experience) - First Year $140–160k OTE uncapped + residuals Selling Payroll, HR and Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions to medium-sized businesses Working within an assigned territory without being micro-managed Day one – your formal training and exceptional benefits begin Top performers after first year are making $200,000 to $400,000; some as much as $800k!! ResponsibilitiesThe HCM Account Executive (HCM AE) is responsible for prospecting and developing sales relationships with potential clients and closing new and expanded sales agreements. The HCM AE works in a fast-paced business environment that is very competitive and quota-driven, targeting medium-sized companies. The best HCM AE’s are hunters, capable of creating their own activity in the field and constantly looking for that next sale. A strong predictor of success for an AE, is someone who incorporates a consultative approach to their sales technique, has exceptional good prospective skills, the ability to be persistent (but not pushy), and has a passion for what is being sold! Determine prospective customers’ needs for Payroll, Human Resources and more, then presenting [the company’s] services to meet those needs Prepare and present proposals and provide appropriate follow-up throughout the sales process Maintain contact with existing customers to determine needs for additional services. Using initiative, develop prospects through cold calling, referrals, professional and personal contacts and other sources Attend trade shows, conferences and other events to promote services Ability to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quota for your territory Required Experience 2-5 years’ experience in a quota-driven, business-to-business sales position Proven success prospecting and closing new business Success level = top 30% achievement within existing sales team Critical thinking and decision-making skills Customer service orientation - the client ALWAYS comes first!
