Head Women's Volleyball Coach - Hendrix College - Conway, AR
Primary Duties
Scheduling and Coaching practices
Game preparation
Preparing and monitoring annual sport and recruiting budgets.
Organization of team travel
Scheduling game contests
Compliance with NCAA, SAA and Hendrix College rules and regulations and responsibilities
Recruitment of qualified student-athletes
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred.
Preference will be given to the candidate who has playing and or coaching experience at the intercollegiate level in volleyball and who can demonstrate a proven ability to recruit quality student-athletes who fit the academic profile of the student body.
The candidate must demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills and must be able to work effectively with staff, faculty, and other members of the college community.
The successful applicant will be able to successfully articulate the values of a liberal arts education and the role that intercollegiate athletics plays in the development of student–athletes.
A valid driver's license is required.
