Executive Search Director

The Executive Search Director will network, source and recruit senior level talent for the company nationwide. This person will work with company leadership and aligned HR business partners to fill positions quickly and effectively while keeping diversity recruiting and internal high-potential talent in focus. This individual will also work closely with our external executive search firm vendors where needed and manage the search process as a liaison between these partners and the hiring leader.

Additional areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

+ Continuously reach out to executives and senior leaders to develop and build relationships to ensure effective working relationships.

+ Develop executive sourcing strategy in conjunction with hiring managers and program managers.

+ Direct coordinator in supporting seamless candidate process.

+ Work closely with executive compensation to ensure appropriate compensation packages are developed, approved, communicated and processed for the candidates.

+ Work closely with HR senior leadership on strategies of the divisions and internal political or sensitive issues with regard searches.

+ Prescreen all candidates to ensure hiring leaders meet only with a pool of highly qualified candidates.

+ Aggregate evaluation feedback and consult on best next steps.

+ Ensure candidate pools have considered succession plan, leadership development program participants and diverse talent.

+ Attend to all details of searches on behalf of the hiring leader such as researching and preparing the offers, negotiating the offers with the candidate, and ensuring all of the details in the offer letters have been approved and reviewed prior to being mailed.

+ Responsible for a concierge level candidate experience in the process from beginning of the search to onboarding so that newly hired leaders have a primary point of contact for all their questions.

Sourcing Expectations:

+ Collaborate with engagement leads on search strategy and initial prospecting, identification and screening of top talent.

+ Conduct initial sell and screen conversations with potential candidates and provide detailed feedback and recommendations.

+ Develop key feedback and market intelligence insights and report out to engagement leads and business/key stakeholders as appropriate.

+ Share relevant market feedback/trends to research team for ongoing updates and to narrow/improve focus as needed.

+ Assist and/or lead transparent feedback conversation with candidates throughout the candidate journey and process.

+ Maintain ongoing relationships with top talent inclusive of regular communication/updates, exploratory conversations and availability status.

+ Partner with Talent teams in the identification and engagement of HIPO’s and build relationships and understanding of internal top talent.

+ Develop and report sourcing insights to better understand and focus on best performing channels.

+ Build passive candidate relationships through personalized communications and campaigns on a proactive basis and track or update CRM accordingly.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

+ Requires a BA degree in HR related field and/or marketing or communications field, and 4-6 years of experience recruiting leadership candidates. Additionally requires 5 years’ experience working in a large search firm and/or leading executive search for a large organization. Any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

+ Experience in sourcing and qualifying leadership and higher level individual contributor candidates required.

+ Experience with creation of complex candidate sourcing strategy and associate reporting tools required.

+ Ability to interface with candidates in an engaging and persuasive manner required.

+ Experience with Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing preferred.

+ In-depth knowledge of the talent acquisition landscape in health insurance industry preferred.

+ Professional HR / TA Certification(s) preferred.
