ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operation Services - Control costs by following established guidelines and promptness of: swaps, out of routes, T-Calls, and repowers. Monitor load tracking conditions to ensure on time deliveries. Monitor and complete After-Hours Requests sent via Electronic form to Extended Services Dashboard.

Logistic Services - Assist with Logistical duties - Accept, build, schedule and assign loads to drivers as specified by ALM and/or Dedicated Account Manager. Assist Glass Division and Permits Department with specific tasks; Complete Canadian ACE/ACI manifest; order permits as necessary then maintain records of permits ordered.

Ensure and maintain the company's profitability by analyzing the needs of the company's internal and external customers. Maintain working relationships with internal and external customers and maximize profits by using telemarketing skills to resolve problems and answer questions.

Safety Services - monitor security cameras, communicate with; log in/document all visitors entering onto campus property; operate campus entrance gates. Monitor fire alarms and other emergency functions. Report emergencies when needed to the appropriate personnel as outlined in Extended Services emergency protocols.

Maintenance Services - Monitor; manage; and report equipment failures (truck and trailer breakdowns). Work closely with road service contractors to ensure drivers are receiving assistance in a timely manner.

Reporting & Communication Services - Extended Reps are required to provide the following departments (Operations; Logistics; Safety and Maintenance departments) with information that occurs after hours and weekends that affects daily operations by maintaining after hours reporting spreadsheets and through other means of communication as necessary.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum requirement; general educational background without high school completion, plus 0 to 6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
