Merchandiser - Pet Products (Part Time)

Job Description

Chuck Latham Associates, the leading pet sales and branding agency is building a team of passionate and energetic merchandisers. We are hiring for the position of Assisted Sales Representative (ASR) to promote various leading pet product lines. This is a professional part-time merchandising position offering flexibility and work-life balance.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining relationships by serving as a liaison between clients, store associates, and management in stores
• Promoting sales and brand awareness through product knowledge and continuous education
• Performing merchandising tasks, including but not limited to resets, cut-ins, following planograms, building incremental displays, and correcting shelf availability
• Traveling to stores once per month on average, workload dependent on territory alignment
• Participating in monthly communication calls
• Demoing opportunities available on a sessional basis

Required Qualifications:

• Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance
• Access to a smart device for online training, scheduling, reporting, and photo-taking in stores
• Strong communication skills, time management, and the ability to follow written and online directives
• Capacity to work independently to meet required deadlines
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift as much as 50 pounds, on occasion
• Professional demeanor with no visible tattoos or facial piercings
• Retail merchandising, reset, and planogram experience preferred
