AVP, Product Management - Pets Best - Synchrony (Arkansas)

Role Summary/Purpose:

Pets Best, a CareCredit solution, is building the future of pet healthcare financing. The AVP, Product Manager – Pets Best, will report to the VP, Marketing – Pets Best and will play a critical role in helping shape the purchase path, the customer experience, and the product distribution strategy for Pets Best insurance. This role will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering projects across all Pets Best consumer and partner applications. The ideal candidate will have consumer facing web design and agile product development experience, a deep analytical decision-making framework, and a passion for building great customer experiences.

This position is remote, where you will work from home, and may require you to occasionally commute to one our offices for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events.

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Build a deep understanding of customer needs and desires, by partnering on market research and conducting analysis of data from multiple sources to translate into actionable insights

+ Analyze web and app analytics to understand customer and partner journeys and develop insights that help inform features, functionality, and future improvements across the business

+ Develop a dashboard and metrics to communicate leading indicators and track progress against key goals and objectives

+ Build and maintain a product roadmap for consumer facing applications (both pre-and post-purchase) with clear and compelling business requirements

+ Define and develop partner capabilities for embedded distribution, and work with internal channel partners to develop messaging, positioning, and go-to-market plans

+ Collaborate with internal and external IT resources and various departments to implement new feature enhancements

+ Design, implement, and analyze AB test result to guide effective decision making

+ Build a strong cross-functional network and foster close working relationships with internal stakeholders

+ Present learnings and recommendations to internal and external business partners

+ Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of technology marketing experience with experience in areas such as ecommerce, product development, user experience, channel management; and strategic planning and analysis OR, in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma 4+ years of equivalent work experience in the above-mentioned areas.

Desired Characteristics:

+ Consumer facing web design experience

+ Technically adept with demonstrated experience in product management

+ An understanding of API products and technology

+ Experience working with technical teams within the IT/Agile framework

+ Strong analytical capabilities

+ Proficient project management skills

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills

+ Ability to work cross-functionally and in a small team environment

Eligibility Requirements:

+ You must be 18 years or older

+ You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

+ You must be willing to take a drug test and submit to a background investigation as part of the onboarding process

+ You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 1033(E) Of the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act Of 1994

+ New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must have at least a “consistently meets expectations” performance rating and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance requirement).

The salary range for this position is **70,000.00 - 150,000.00** USD Annual

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.
