OVERALL DESCRIPTION OF JOB SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for maintaining the property in a safe, attractive, comfortable condition. Responsible for keeping interiors, common areas, vacant units and sidewalks/alleyways of assigned properties in a clean and safe condition.
RELATIONSHIPS: This position reports to Maintenance Supervisor and/or Property Manager, retains relationships with peers and all other departments within the company, maintains relationships with current and prospective residents, and maintains relationships with suppliers, vendors, and others serving the Company or the property.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cleans all hallways, common areas, vacant apartments, parking areas, sidewalks and alleyways, and on-site management office.
Common area maintenance including but not limited to: moping, sweeping, waxing, washing, dusting all surfaces; vacuuming carpeted areas in office, clubhouse (if applicable), fitness center (if applicable), model, laundry room, and restrooms. This includes cleaning of furniture, windows, blinds, floors, laundry machines, sinks, mirrors, toilets and all gym equipment. Restocking of paper products in the restrooms and kitchen.
Maintains appliances and plumbing.
Assists in inventory control of all janitorial equipment and supplies.
Assists with painting, as directed.
Replace light bulbs in models, vacant apartments, hallways, office, and all common areas of building.
