Job Summary:

Under general supervision, the position for data integration is responsible for gathering and understanding business requirements and designing and developing ETL jobs. This position may be required to provide ETL support outside normal business hours (e.g., during weekends and night shift).

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities: • Collaborates with business partners, business intelligence analysts, and data architects to identify and document informatics and analytics requirements to determine the viability of request from the business and jointly arrives at an acceptable solution and timeline. • Develops business intelligence and analytics solutions to support business needs using Attunity, SSIS, SSAS, data lake, Azure, Databricks and .net technologies. Solutions will range from basic ETL creation to event-driven data movement. • Develops business knowledge to effectively anticipate and define opportunities to apply business intelligence and analytics solutions to improve business outcomes. • Works with information technology and subject matter experts to develop data quality metrics to detect data quality issues and resolve discrepancies. • Works with data architects in the design of new data structures and dimensional models in assigned business areas of the data warehouse. • Advances and maintains business intelligence skills and understanding of data and its function in the organization to help increase the analytical competency of the organization. • Troubleshoots and solves production issues related to performance and reliability throughout the software stack with assistance from other team members. • Participates in analysis and design tasks with the Agile team using software development lifecycle concepts.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or foreign equivalent; and 3 years’ experience in Data ETL or Business Intelligence using SSIS or other related ETL tools, SQL Server Database, DB2 Database, Database table design and management..
