Job Summary
The general laborer is responsible for assisting warehouse personnel to keep the machinery, equipment, and trucks operating in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance and repairs on brakes, suspensions, drive trains, electrical, and engine repair as needed.

• Conduct safety and maintenance inspections daily on motorized industrial equipment prior to operating.

• Repairs, modifies, installs, and maintains equipment related to operations such as trucks, trailers, forklifts, skid steers, tractors, compactors, balers, and other specialized, and / or industrial equipment.

• Pick up trash around facility and clean shop floor as needed.

• Recognize and comply with OSHA safety and health rules.

• May perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to the elements, fumes, varying degrees of hot or cold temperatures, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
