Role Purpose
The Campaign Manager – Email is responsible for the day-to-day execution of client email programs working as a direct liaison between internal departments. This position manages all project activities related to email deployment supporting strategic, tactical and support functions (creative, technology, and analytics) in order to achieve the client and Company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage email campaign execution for a portfolio of campaigns including all related materials
Operational expert for email deployment contributing to email marketing strategies, testing, and execution of client email programs
Coordinate all internal team members, client, and vendors to ensure on-time and accurate completion of projects
Verify quality assurance standards, methods, or procedures are followed related to product quality or release readiness
Ensure timeliness and quality of client deliverables including campaign counts, reports, change requests and proposals
Responsible for communicating internal plans/methodology to key internal contacts as well as coordinating and documenting internal client related meetings
Assist the lead client contact to ensure Merkle business/support teams are working efficiently and effectively
Key Skills and Experience
Bachelors degree
1-3 years experience in email marketing, interactive marketing or digital marketing
1-3 years working in an agency or consulting firm
Hands-on skills using data to drive decisions – proficiency in Excel is required
Experience in preparing and supporting client presentations – proficiency in PowerPoint is preferred
Ability to leverage business experience/acumen to identify new business and marketing opportunities
Strong listening and superior relationship building skills
Excellent, proven organizational skills, including strong attention to detail and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Team player who can work across multiple business units
High intellectual curiosity, drive, determination, self-confidence and persuasion skills.
Must have experience with Adobe Campaign Manager for email/Neolane
Knowledge of SQL databases a plus
