Grounds Maintenance Technician - Maverick Transportation, LLC - North Little Rock, AR
1. Responsible for overall grounds maintenance projects: lawn, chemical applications, mowing, bush hogging, etc.
2. Works with grounds maintenance contractors to ensure all work is being done accurately.
3. Works to resolve problems with the contractors by notifying the Yard Supervisor immediately.
4. Repairs and maintains ground equipment.
5. Assists in the creation of department action plans that support the company's strategic business plan.
6. Works well with others within the department and company.
7. Contributes to the team effort by recommending improved processes.
8. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
9. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending and participate in appropriate training.
10. Ensures company confidentiality.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc., plus 0 to 6 months related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
While performing this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle, grasp or feel objects, frequently required to sit, stand, walk and drive, frequently required to reach and raise with hands and arms, frequently required to stoop, kneel, bend, squat, crouch, crawl, twist and climb, frequently required to see, talk and hear. Occasionally required to push, pull, lift and carry up to 150 pounds.
