Safety Representative (HGAS) - HGA Staffing - Camden, AR
The Safety Representative position is a long-term (2 years) contract position working with a specialty chemical client in the El Dorado, AR area.
Safety Representative Job Description:
- Emergency response training and experience
- Safety Representative performs Operations and Maintenance employee training
- Perform field audits of operations, maintenance and contractor activities
- Safety Representative assists Operations and Management with Process Safety compliance
- Establish and manage employee training and documentation
- Safety Representative is an HSE subject matter expert related to process safety discipline
- Perform field audits of construction, maintenance and contractor activities
- Safety Representative leads the Contractor Safety Committee
- Experience with OSHA 1910 compliance
- Safety Representative should have experience with Behavioral Based Safety Programs
Qualifications:
Safety Representative Requirements:
- Safety Representative should have prior HSE experience working directly for a refinery or chemical facility required
- Previous pipeline experience as a Safety Representative
- Safety Representative should have previous drilling experience as a Safety Representative
- Experience working around H2S, and confined space entry
- 5+ years of demonstrated Safety Representative experience
- Safety Representative candidates must be local to the El Dorado, AR area since per diem will not be paid
