SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY - Job Summary (general statement of purpose or objective of position)

ES Utility Techs provide a clean and safe environment for our patients, guests and all Baptist Health team-members. Utility Techs perform assigned cleaning, waste removal, and any special projects to meet the facility cleanliness and infection control standards.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Knowledge, skills, abilities, license, registration, certification, education, and experience

Prefer one (1) year of job related work experience. Prefer High School diploma or GED (not required.) Requires the ability to read, write, understand and follow instructions; basic addition and subtraction skills, verbal skills to effectively communicate with all customers. Requires the ability to operate ES equipment (ES carts, mops, dust-mops, soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers, vacuum cleaners, climb ladders etc..) and follow safety standards at all times. Must work assigned shift hours (and weekends as scheduling requires.)
