Food Service Director Responsibilities Include:

• Recruit, hire, and retain high functioning kitchen teams
• Train, coach, and develop team members
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with school district administration and staff
• Supervise the production and service of breakfast and lunch meals and special events
• Purchasing food and supplies, managing inventory, and maintaining a strong cost management environment
• Maintaining a safe work environment
• Compliance with federal, state and local regulations
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, which include, but are not limited to standing for up to 9 hours and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to multi-task, detail-oriented and self-motivated
