Superintendent (Power) - APTIM (Arkansas)
Job Overview:
Superintendent needed for Power Plant in Arkansas. The Superintendent will be the direct contact for the region sites to home office.
Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for all maintenance field and staff functions.
+ Maintain responsibility for scheduling and assist client as requested on financial matters pertaining to the sites.
+ Responsible for online, outage and project estimates and deadlines.
+ Participates in all client mandated meetings within assigned region.
+ Participates in all corporate / fleet calls as directed by Fleet Manager.
+ Ensures that each site has the requested manpower headcounts, adequate tooling, equipment and PPE/consumables needs.
+ Manage and monitor activities to ensure safe, efficient and economic performance.
+ Responsible for the Health and Safety Program and enforcement by each site.
+ Responsible for the QA/QC program and enforcement by each site.
+ Manage the financial aspects of the contract to protect company interest.
+ Maintain a positive relationship with the client.
+ Ensure accounts are up to date on invoicing and account receivables.
+ Ensure each site in the region is free from harassment and are demonstrating a hostile free work environment.
+ Participate in client driven, safety, human performance, and quality walk through audits with each site.
+ Participates in managing a productive craft safety committee to include participation in the safety committee meetings.
+ Participates in and mentors regional staff and craft participation within the Aptim observation program, Target Program.
+ Maintains engagement in regional/fleet KPI's.
+ Ensures each site is being managed in compliance with all Aptim and client processes and procedures.
+ Ensures all issues between the client, company, and site have been addressed and properly closed.
+ Reports to the Fleet Manager and client contacts any incidents, near misses or damage to equipment and supports the investigations for such events.
+ Accountable for the outage schedule in their region and initiates manpower request to procure needed manpower and supervision.
+ Responsible to ensure adequate equipment, tooling and supplies are procured for planned outages.
+ Draft and execute Corrective Actions plans.
Qualifications:
+ 10+ years in an Operations Superintendent or Management role.
+ Power experience required.
+ 15 years of relevant experience.
