Insurance Specialist
Springdale, AR
A successful person in this role is a specialist who is thoughtful and detailed in their work, who enjoys organizing information and records, and who looks for opportunities to improve administrative processes. They will have high standards for accuracy and completeness of records, and they will initiate improvements to administrative processes and systems. The Insurance Specialist is recognized for their ability to prioritize, coordinate, and complete a wide variety of detailed insurance activities.
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
Knowledge of a specialized field (however acquired), such as basic accounting, computer, etc. Equivalent of four years in high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school specialized training, equal to two years of college, plus 4 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preference given to candidates with experience in the insurance industry.
Position Responsibilities:
Handling of insurance related requests. Manage certificate of insurance requests by third parties, and provide technical guidance with respect to required contract provisions related to insurance. Process Certificate of Insurance requests as needed. Process requests for high value requests as needed. Manage certificate of insurance Auto ID requests. Manage Insurance Exclusions resulting from the Risk Analysis Program. Handling of all hazmat requests (maintain Audit Records, Perform Audits, Agreements, etc.) Filing of all company employee related auto physical damage claims. Assisting with insurance renewals. Coordinate insurance-related information and provide summary updates to management. Assist in continuous improvement of business processes, policy compliance, and the systems used in Insurance administration. Maintain exposure information and schedules to support the policy renewal process. Prepare post renewal summary reports. Manage third party insurance variance requests. Provide guidance and support to other departments with respect to the Company’s insurance programs. Drive automation in current manual processes in all insurance areas. Manage day-to-day insurance queries. Assist in meeting department goals. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.Benefits:
