The Learning and Development (L&D) team is transforming how we develop, design, deploy, and execute learning at BNSF Logistics. We are looking for an experienced Program Manager who has demonstrated competency in communication skills (written/spoken), instructor-led facilitation, and managing multiple learning events in a dynamic work environment while meeting deadlines with exceptional quality.
Primary Functions:
The primary function of this position is to program manage the learning and development curriculum which includes both classroom/web facilitation, room set-up, event management, metrics and evaluations to support the organization’s strategic employee development objectives. The Learning and Development Program Manager will also be responsible for researching industry-best learning trends, partnering with vendors, and conducting internal needs analysis to determine the development need across the enterprise. This position will be engaged in a diverse scope of projects, working in concert with a variety of personnel resources.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage learning programs, events and materials to support operations, departmental, and other L&D initiatives. Collaborate and communicate with project stakeholders and subject matter experts on the need for content development of learning programs. Assist with the ongoing evaluation of learning programs, and provide recommendations for improvement. Facilitate various learning events, programs, workshops via multiple learning methods, such as Instructor-Led Training (ILT), virtual led, eLearning and other blended formats. Provide monthly course metrics from Level 1 evaluations. Effectively prioritize and manage multiple learning projects. Update and maintain systems and procedure user manuals, SOPs, job aids, and guides to support multiple L&D programs. Support and facilitate segments of our Sales Management Trainee (SMT) program. Facilitate systems training for internal and external software utilized throughout the company. Perform any other duty assigned.Qualifications:

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Talent Development, Organizational Development or similar field or equivalent through a combination of education and experience. At least 4+ years of experience facilitating adult learning theories, and programsCOMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and concisely with professional decorum.SOFTWARE SKILLS:
Microsoft Office applications – e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop). Learning Management System (LMS) experience; SuccessFactors, a plus.TRAVEL:
