PELVIC AND ACETABULAR TRAUMA FELLOW 2020 - Government of South Australia - Health, AR
As a Complex Trauma Fellow with a special interest in Pelvic & Acetabular Fractures, you will work under Senior Consultant supervision to provide high quality medical care to patients of the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Participating in multidisciplinary orthopaedic care in collaboration with other units within RAH Orthopaedic & Trauma Service and other functional units in the hospital, you will attend outpatient clinics, participate in emergency and elective surgical procedures, and conduct and attend daily ward rounds. You will ensure the appropriate documentation of clinical care in patients̢۪ medical records, including the timely provision of discharge summaries, written specialist opinions and requested medical reports. Holding a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery or an equivalent degree, you will be registrable with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority (AHPRA) and have completed a specialist Orthopaedic surgical training program. Demonstrating completion of ATLS or a similar course, you will possess prior training in basic and advanced fracture management. You will bring the ability to foster a working relationship with patients, their families and other staff which demonstrates courtesy, respect, consideration, empathy, honesty, openness and providing good service.
